A born naturalist, Kieron’s fascination with the natural world has led him through a childhood exploring rural Wisconsin, college study-abroad programs in Costa Rica and Europe, a career in restoration ecology, and his current work in sustainable travel. Since 2007 Kieron has been helping visitors to Portland, Seattle and Latin America fill their trips with memorable experiences and outright adventures. He’s worked for luxury travel companies such as Cruise West, Adventures by Disney and Evergreen Escapes, leading groups throughout the Pacific Northwest as one of the most recognized guides in the region. Together with his team of experience curators and professional guides at First Nature, he aims to educate and immerse travelers in authentic experiences that help them rediscover the sense of wonder many of us lose in adulthood. Travel is more than a career for Kieron; it’s his passion, and nothing makes him happier than connecting people with new ideas, adventures and life experiences.
