Chris Seek is a sustainable tourism and marketing specialist who helps conservation organizations, economic development agencies and tourism organizations use sustainable tourism to support biodiversity conservation, cultural heritage preservation and the well-being of local residents. Chris is CEO of Solimar International, a sustainable tourism development firm that has supported more than 500 destinations and 7,000 small and medium tourism enterprises with tourism planning, product development, market research, branding, Internet marketing, travel trade linkages, public/private partnerships, investment promotion, resource conservation and sustainable tourism management practices. In addition to his work at Solimar, Chris is an executive in residence and assistant professor at George Washington University, where he teaches courses on tourism marketing, sustainable tourism enterprise development, and investment and finance for sustainable tourism projects.
